Welcome to Rahman for School Board

The election results are in and, as you may already know, I am not!

Let me congratulate Barbara Hopewell for winning another term, Elizabeth Johnston for getting aboard and Ted Jaroszewicz for returning to the school board. I would like you to join me in wishing them luck as they join the two sitting board members in setting the direction of our schools for the next four years.

But most importantly, I would like to thank my many supporters and volunteers who were so generous with their time and commitment to my campaign. We waged a fair, honorable and spirited campaign and we lost. But that is what democracy is all about. It is not just about winning every time or even most of the time - it is also about expressing and advocating your views in your community, your country and in the world at large. If that is the only lesson that our children can take away and retain, it will have been well worth the effort.

Thank you for visiting the Rahman for School Board website. Much of the remainder of this site is, for the moment, obsolete. But we do hope to add more relevant content at some later time. And thank you again for your support.
